Europe's Mountain Paradise

The Alps are not just for skiing. In summer, they become a playground for hikers of all levels, offering breathtaking sights, fresh air, and the scent of mountain flowers.

1. Tour du Mont Blanc (France, Italy, Switzerland)

This is a classic. The circular tour around Western Europe's highest peak passes through three countries. Although the entire route takes 7-10 days, you can choose just certain sections.

  • Difficulty: Medium to Hard
  • Best Time: July - September

2. Tre Cime di Lavaredo (Dolomites, Italy)

Probably the most photogenic trail in the Dolomites. The circular path around three iconic peaks is relatively easy and accessible to most hikers.

  • Difficulty: Easy to Medium
  • Duration: 3-4 hours

3. Eiger Trail (Switzerland)

Walk at the foot of the infamous Eiger North Face. The trail offers dramatic views of the face and the Grindelwald valley, and it's mostly downhill if you start from the Eigergletscher station.

Safety Tips

  • Weather changes quickly: Always carry a waterproof jacket, even if it's sunny.
  • Footwear: Quality hiking boots are a must.
  • Water: Carry enough water, springs are not always available.
